For 2 years I've been getting papsPap smear Pap smears and cervical cancer every 3 to 6 months and all have come back unsatisfactory. A year ago the Gyn sent me for a colposcopy. She took a bioposy that came back negative. I have had 2 more colpscopies (6 months apart) and all results are negative. Today I get a letter that they want to see me in 3 months instead of 6. I called the Drs office and the last colposcopy came back negative but the Dr is convinced there is displasia. I know she is just looking out for me but I'm wondering if there could be something else wrong. Anyone have any experience with this?
When you have had your colposcopies, did they also perform an ecc? Have you had an HPV test to see if there is currently an active infection? What are the papsPap smear Pap smears and cervical cancer showing when you say unsatisfactory?
