HPV - Dysplasia Found in Cervix - Surgically Removed - Bleeding Occuring

Hello,
I recently had surgery to remove some dysplasia found in my cervix. My first week after recovery I didn't experience any bleeding. The second week there was a few bloody spots that my doctor told me were due to my cervix forming blood vessels. However, I wasn't able to see her for the third week and during my third week I experienced a lot of bleeding (as if I was on heavy load of my period) but I know I wasn't going to have my period until my fourth week.
Therefore, I am kind of concerned about this high amount of bleeding during my third week post surgery.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is this normal? Could it just be my period coming early? I will see my doctor again in one week but I feel unsettled by this occurrence.
If anyone can help that would be most appreciated.

bleeding for up to 3 weeks is normal..... you need to go back to dr and she what she says ,,,,
