HPV & Low grade pap changes

My pap came back with low grades changes and positive for hpv.  I am 45 years old and been with my husband for 5 years now.  I have a routine paper every year and it has always been good until this year.  I am having a colposcopy tomorrow.  I am just scared of what the doctor may tell me.  Is this treatable?

Thank you so much for your response.  I actually had my colposcopy.  It didn't show signs of dysphasia or cancer cells.  I will have another pap in 6 months just to follow the HPV diagnosis.

Hello,
Mild dysplasia is treatable. Hence you should go ahead with the colposcopy to confirm the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
