HPV Clearance

by Hope4L, Apr 04, 2009 11:06PM
Hello to All,  I have both high and low risk HPV and visual genital warts (GW).  There are numerous research indicating natural clearance by the immune system.  I have been eating lots of fruit/veg, take multi vitamins and vit C and I drink a lot of water.  I am also taking natural anti-viral herbs to help fight the virus and boost my immune system.

I have had HPV for a few months and I have tried Aldara (which cleared some but not all the warts) and more warts are appearing and it just seems that they are spreading like a wild fire.  I am very careful in touching myself.  Thought the itching in the affected area is unbearable to say the least, I avoid itching/touching unless I am bathing.

Is/Are there anyone out there who have had GW and it naturally cleared itself without it recurring???

Has anyone in this HPV community cleared thier HPV within the time indicated by recent research (e.g.8-24 months)???

Do the symptoms (GW) get worst before they clear???

I am trying to be positive but I feel dishearten when I see new GW appear especially when I have adapted a new healthly lifestyle and wonder if my immune system is strong enough to fight this.

I to had the pleasure of  having both low and high risk HPV and felt the same way, but after a couple of acid treatments and frozing the warts off (I think about 4 treatments) I have not seen any sense! And yes my body did clear the virus in the 8-24 months like the research says but everybody is different and the best advice I can give you is to keep taking your vitamins, continue to eat right and stay in close contact with your doctor.

Hope this helps!

what kind of anti-viral herbs are you taking and can you get them at a drug store.  Thank you because I too have GW and would like to start boosting my immune system.

I got diagnosed with low risk 6 years ago and had one episode of warts.  I had cryotherapy done to remove the one wart that was visible and nothing has returned.  I have done a lot of reading about Pau d'arco tea and its ability to kill viral warts.  I currently drink the tea as an immune system booster and hope that I never see another wart in the future... but if I do I will just have it treated again.  I have been in a relationship with the same guy throughout this whole deal and he has never shown any visible symptoms which I am thankful for.  Just try to stay healthy and you should be fine!  Hope this helps....

hey i contracted them in july last year nd after having cryotherapy about 4 times they havnt come bak as far as i can c... also my flatmate got thm nt too long after i did nd she had a bit more touble getting on top of them (possibly because she was a heavy smoker) but after about 1 month and a half of cryotherapy once a week nd using the aldara cream she got rid of them and hasnt had them bak... she also has slept with 2 ppl unprotected and so far they havn't contracted the warts...
Theres alot of contraversy over genital warts that I really don't know what to believe.. But one thing the doctors do say is keep healthy and try not to smoke to keep your immune system up
