HPV Risk

At the end of October, I received oral sex from a prostutite. Ho HIV or other STI but what has my risk been for HPV or genital warts, as there is no test for that?

There is no test for HPV, however genital warts (which is caused by the low risk strain) can be diagnosed when visible warts are present and only then.

It is very unlikely to get HPV from oral sex as oral warts are rare.

As there is no test for HPV it is hard to ever know if you have one if the 100 strains. You could easily have already been infected with HPV prior to this encounter as it can stay in your system for years.
No way of knowing you have it really.

Just remember that with HPV even using condoms isn't 100% protection and that you can infect others without even knowing you are a carrier. So think of your future partners when you partake in risky behaviour.

Warts are tumours or growths of the skin caused by infection with Human Papillomavirus (HPV).They are contagious when in contact with the skin of an infected person. It is also possible to get warts from using towels or other objects used by an infected person.
You can get HPV after having unprotected sex. Risk of transmission is there.
