HPV Symptoms

Hello all,
I was diagnosed with HPV 4 years ago and it was still present in my last smear/pap test earlier this year.
I have also had, for the past 4 years, flu like and fatigue symptoms.  Doctors assured me the HPV would not cause these symptoms but I feel it is a coincidence that the symptoms started just before I was diagnosed with HPV.  I was wondering if anyone else out there has had or has similar symptoms - or if anyone knows if it is possible these symptoms could be HPV related.  I'm not convinced the doctors are correct then they say it cannot be the HPV.
Thank-you!

The problem is that the medical community does not really know everything there is about HPV. Especially the side effects. And it affects people differently. There are many diseases with chronic fatigue. You may have one of those.

Yes very true thank-you. I am going back to the doctors anyway and also going for a private HPV screening again to discuss it.

It makes sense to me that you linked these things. A weaker immune system often leads to more genital warts or a difficulty to make it dormant. Do you smoke cigs? Do you drink often? Are you having trouble sleeping? Do you lead an unhealthy life style?

Hello...yes I think it might be linked but wish I could know for sure.  I don't have any warts and never seem to get colds etc but have debilitating fatigue which yes is triggered by not sleeping.  This could be for any reason, just not sleeping well or having a late night. I have a healthy lifestyle, I eat really well, exercise, don't smoke and only drink occasionally.  So am really really frustrated that I feel so crappy so often.
