HPV Test

I wanted to ask that I had sex with my ex in july 2008 then i went away for a while and came back in the beginning of year 2009 and i was with him again, then we broke up. I had my Pap test and HPV DNA test done in july 2010 both were negative. Does this mean I dont have HPV at all and I shouldnt be worrying about it ?
