I am 36 years old and my wife of 13 years is having tests done to identify a sore/itching on her vulvaVaginal itching. She had a blood test last week and Herpes and other STD's were ruled out. I have read that HPV cannot be tested via a blood test. She is going back today and the Dr. is going to do a culture and maybe biopsy of the area. He already said her cervix and all internal observations looked normalNormal saline flush. I am concerned this is HPV and that I have given it to her.
She is an awesome person and I truely believe that she would never have cheated on me. I, on the handHand or foot spasms Hand tremor, had an affair when we were dating, approx 20yrs ago, that she is aware of. Other than this, I have been to strip clubs where the dancers are totally nude and extremely touchy. I have been a club in Vegas where she was naked, i was in shorts, she was rubbing on my lap and legs. In addition to touching herself, she did touch me too, under my shorts. She allowed my to touch too. Shamefully, I touched myself right after the lap dances were done.
If she has HPV, which usually does not cause pain or itching, it is most likely from a previous partner, either yours or hers. While some researchers believe that it is theoretically possible for HPV to be spread through indirect touching, in reality this almost never happens.HPV is almost always spread through direct genital to genital or genital-oral contact.
It just seems there are so many different things said about this. Why do some sites like the CDC say that it still can be hand-genital transmission?
Different question - what are the odds that if I have it, she will get it and have adverse symptoms. Most sites say that the "majority" of people do not show symptoms and clear the virus without signs and symptoms. Is it possible that if I have it, she gets it and her body never gets a symptom and it does not become a problem??? Anyone?
