HPV Vaccination

I have recently (in last few months) been diagnosed with HPV type 39. This is a high risk type for developing cervical cancer. I have heard that there is a vaccinations/inoculations on the market called VAGINEX (by Smith Kline) which can protect against developing cervical cancer, even if you already have the virus. Is this true??  I googled 'Vaginex' but no results came up. Instead, San Vex result came up - there have been some bad reports on this. Seems not to be a good option.

I also believe that there is Gardasil on the market which doesn't protect against cervical cancer, instead just vaccinates you against HPV type 6, 11, 16 & 18. So it won't help at all with my current status (HPV type 39). Is this true? Furthermore, it says you can only have this inoculation if you are between 9 - 26 years of age. I tuen 27 in March 2011. Will my doctor give me the vaccine and will it help if I have JUST JUST turned 27?

Which do you recommend? San Vex (Vaginex???) or Gardasil??

Please help!!!
