HPV and Valtrex

I acquired both HPV and HSV2 from my unfaithful ex spouse.  After a lifetime of normal pap tests, this year I tested positive for high grade cervical dysplasia.  A cone biopsy followed, and I'm hoping the worst is over with.  Between the fear of cancer due to HPV, the stigma of herpes, and the fear of passing on either, I feel my sexuality has pretty much disappeared.

My doctor has suggested Valtrex for the HSV2.  I have only had a couple mild outbreaks, and with no dating life on the horizon, am not keen to start any sort of daily medication.  Also-- and here is my main question-- have any studies shown  Valtrex to exacerbate HPV infections, or increase the chance of dysplasia progressing and developing into cancer??  Basically, is taking Valtrex a risk for people with high risk HPV?

Thanks
