HPV/genital warts after 5 years disclosure

Hi, I had one occurence of genital warts 5 years ago, no other occurences since then. I have a new boyfriend and plan to have sex with him. Should I be worried about contaminating him? What are the chances? Should I disclose my history? I mention I had oral sex with him (me offering oral sex to him) about 3 months ago and he is ok, no transmission seems to have occured. However, I am a bit stressed about that as well. Could I have passed the virus to him? Please let me know what you think.

The odds of spreading the virus via oral sex is less than spreading it via genital sex but it isn't zero. Since it has been 5 years, the chances that you are infectious now are extremely low. Although no one knows when they can become infectious again, you may want to mention this to future partners.

Statistically, 90% of people who have it never become infectious again. No one knows who is in this 90% and who isn't.

Hi, I also want to specify I gave oral sex to a man about 1 year after I had my genital warts episode and no transmissions occured, he is ok. I told him about the risk beforehand.
