HPV or Skin Tag

Ok... So I have this growth in my pubic area... Its been there for over a year... maybe possibly two years. I was with a partner and we had unpretected sex at least for two or three years. Well soon I grew this "thing" on my pubic area. I looked up genital warts and I immediately died! Well not litterally... But the pictures and descriptions I received were all on the shaft, head, scrotum... And in humongous clusters. I really think they pick the most horrible pics on google. But anyway, I also looked up skin tags. Now THATS what I believe I have. In fact I have 3. One big one... about a half inch (Read that about skin tags), and a smaller one, and a tiny one... they are all on my pubic area. I've had sex once before, and have gotten oral sex, and no one has reported back to me with any irregularities(After months!). When I first saw it, I took it as a hair bump. I recently began to shave that area. Now I am a large male, 5'11'' close to 300. I wouldn't say fat, because my bone structure is kind of large, and I read that being overweight can cause skin tags. And I worked a job where the uniform was kind of tight, because I may have gained weight during the expirience...

They have not fallen off (Going on, if not, 2 yrs)... the bigger one started small, and got to the size it is now. And I think the only reason, is because I picked at it thinking it was a hair bump...
I dont know about this "Stalk" the skin tag is supposed to be on... Do they all have "Stalks"?
If it was genital warts, wouldn't it also be on my shaft and what not?
They are skin color, can move,/twist, smooth but bumpy...
The skin around it is not raised... it "Hangs" there like a skin tag suggested.
Could it be due to irritation?
None of my partners had genital warts, or have had any. At least that I know of...
No discomfort, no itching. Can pull it, flick it...
Another question is... Wouldn't it have appeared on my face, or arm, or any part of my body I toched if it was a wart? Or even on my old partner?

I think you have moles/skin tags but you really have to go to a dermatologist to be sure. No one can tell you for sure on here, even the docs wouldn't. I agree all the pics online for gential (genital) warts are scary and nothing like what most of us experience.

So... I shouldn't be worried about warts? I will go get it checked out for sure... But I have not expirienced any of these warts that are suggested in those pictures,,, UGH!!!! Thanks Mags for your opinion...

Warts can have lots of dif appearances. There can be a single wart or more. I would think that given the time frame you would have had more changes but there is no way for me to tell you I am not a professional in the medical field. Rather than continue to worry just have a doc look at it.
