Hmmm

I was diagnosed with HPV genital warts about two months ago. It was and still is a very difficult thing to handle. The circumstances came about while at a party in April, extremely intoxicated (I wonder about possibly being slipped something). I stand by the fact that I was taken completely advantage of and to this day, I do not even know what occurred. My doctor checked me internally but I am afraid that I may have internal anal warts. After the event occurred, I freaked out about STDs and started checking myself everywhere. I noticed an anal skin tag and went to a doctor, inquiring about it. I mentioned that I thought it might be HPV but he said no, that it was either a skin tag or hemorrhoid. I was relieved and it was not until I was diagnosed that I started reconsidering this diagnosis of a skin tag. I have been treated with podophyllin and my external warts have decreased. On my last visit, my doctor checked around my anus and treated one near my hole. She didn't seem concerned about internal ones and didn't mention much. I am now freaking out about internal warts and when I try really hard to look inside with a mirror, I can see several bumps inside. I'm not sure if these are anal folds or warts. If these are warts, what is the usual means of removing these and how big of a process is this? I still live at home with my parents and have not told them about this problem? I would like to keep this from them if possible but if I have internal warts, I'm guessing this will not be possible. Do internal anal warts usually go away by themselves?

Follow up..... my doctor looked and could not find anything and said the "wart" she found on the outside may well be a skin tag but chose to treat it as a wart just in case.

I would like to clear something up.... My vagina was checked internally, but not my anus. Also, I have a history of hemmorroids, and recently had one flare up in Decemeber, which is why I am unsure about diagnosis.
My main question is still about treatments of internal anal warts, and whether they can be performed in a doctors office without going to a hospital or having to have surgery.
