genital area or if I masturbate, can they be spread into my vagina? My second questions are: can I transmit the genital warts to my future partners if I don't have any visible warts and can HPV be transmitted to my children if they use the same bathtub after I have showered? Any info that can be shared will be much appreciated!
For the question about razors - I'm not 100 percent sure, but I don't think you can spread it this way. When you are infected, the whole genital area holds the virus so if new warts appear in different areas it has nothing to do with you spreading them but with the fact the whole areas infected.
There is no cure for HPV, treatments get rid of the symptoms, but not the cause. When your warts are removed, it is more than likely you will be contagious, just less so than if you had visible warts, as warts bring the virus to the surface of the skin. Most people clear if they have had no symptoms in 6-24 months. There are no tests for HPV, so deciding when you are clear is a guessing game. Use a condom
