How do I go about getting an HPV test?

I'm a young woman who had a sexually encounter with a guy who now has HPV. Him and I had a monogamous relationship and I've never been diagnoaed with any STD's, a few months into our relationship I became pregnant but miscarried for no reason (as the hospital said) back in September. We broke up shortly after because he was violent and selfish. He found a way to contact me a couple days ago and told me when I was pregnant he was diagnosed with HPV and didnt want to tell me because he didn't want to get hurt, which personally I believe is selfish.
I've had all three of the vaccine shots for HPV since I was 12 but he said in the message that his was stronger. I'm extremely concerned, I haven't had any symptoms and my pap I got done after my miscarriage didn't show up abnormal and they didn't find anything but he made me paranoid and pretty scared. I currently have no way to afford health insurance and I need to know where I can go that will provide a test, it doesn't have to be free just affordable. I've tried searching places but I can't really find anything on the matter.

Go to Planned Parenthood and see if they can give you a HPV test.  What that guy means is that he may have been diagnosed with a high risk strain of the virus. If no PP near you, go see your GYN.
