I've never been to the doctor for it but I'm suffering from what I believe is HPV, genital warts. I noticed something was growing a little over a year ago. It started with one bump on my inner thigh than spread into about seven clusters
. I'm 3 nights into this acv treatment. First hour is excruciating than it settles do a dull, suttle pain. How long does this treatment last? Is it imperative that I see a physician? I also haven't told a single person. I haven't had a partner in over a year because of my fear
of a physician. Self medicating isn't always the best route. After effective treatment and taking the proper medication you will be able to have sex again. But remember to take extra precautions to keep from passing this disease on to your potential partner. This is not a death sentence. You can lead a normal life, just get treated properly so you won't have to continue going through the agony that you are now. The first step to recovery is seeking help. :)
i just got the news today that i have hpv.. very upsetting, very unpleasant to have to tell my partner. but i had one bump and as soon as i saw it i rushed to the doctors because diagnosis take forever. I've had this bump since summer... and i just found out today, its ridiculous! go to the doctors as soon as possible, because as soon as you are cleared up you will feel much better. and there is always someone out there who will be understanding, you just have to be open with them. i know it's hard, trust me, but try to look on the positive side, things happen for a reason, and maybe you will find someone who loves you for you no matter what virus you carry.
I would also add that not only is HPV not a death sentence, your body will gain immunity over it in time, meaning that your warts will recede and will not cause another problem for you later in life.
With or without treatment, your body will gain dominance over the virus. With treatment from a physician, however, clearance of the virus can come faster. Long story short, you won't have the virus forever; you will have a normal sex life; and you should go to the doctor for treatment.
