How do i keep active sexuall life with my partner without infect him with my warts
i am a gay man in my early 30's, i had anal warts about 5 years ago, i got treated and they haven't reoccurred in the past 2-3 years. i met a new man in his late 30's and i want to tell him about my history, and want to keep him "safe
Firstly, if you had AW some 5 years ago and they have not reoccured in the last 2 - 3 years, then you are likely to be 'cleared' where by the virus is lying dormant in your system and is no longer contagious. However it can be reactivated at anytime but as yours have not reoccured in 2 years, it is usually unlikely that you will have another reoccurance and therefore become active again, but it is possible.
If you are not contagious then you do not need to worry about any of the questions you have. However if you were:
1) Oral HPV chances are very very small as so you do not need to worry
2) The HPV virus dies nearly straight away once on any other part of the body, towls etc
3) HPV is transferred from skin to skin not via bodily fluids
Please wait for somebody else to confirm all of this as i am new to the forums
