How fast does HPV spread?
Recently I have had contact with someone with HPV warts.
However I realized what was that and went back home to take a shower and clean the area touched by the wart about five to ten minutes after it happened.
I was going to have sex with prostitute so the "area toched by the wart" was around my penis.
My question is if HPV is spread immediatly after contact or did I have enough time to wash myself?

Infection occurs after a vigorous rubbing of genital skin on genital skin that has visible genital warts but do realize that it can also occur when genital warts are not visible. Which is why so many people are getting it. Washing doesn't do anything. No one can tell you if you were infected or not but sex should be avoided when warts are visible.
