Human Papiloma Virus, prototype 16
Hello,
I found out a couple of days ago that I am infected with HPV prototype 16 virus and I am still freaked out. I am 23 years old and I am engaged and will soon be married. I told my future husband that it is more likely that we are both infected and that there is no chance for us to find out `who is to be blamed` .
My questions are:
- Is there a chance for the virus to stagnate, because I am familiar with that it cannot be cured?
- Are we allowed to have sex during the healing process?
- If the virus stagnates, can we perform other kinds of sex : such as oral, or anal sex without the fear of provoking the virus.
- When we decide to have children, is there a chance for the child to be infected with the same virus and will the virus be somewhat of a threat for my future pregnancies .

I have also studied everything up till now. And I am much more relaxed. I know that boosting the immune system will help so much, and I am starting to investigate some of the natural ways of dealing with this problem, because I thought `who would know better than our ancestors`... so if I find something I will most definitely let you know, and I will find something.

I am still worried about getting reinfected when having intercourse. I mean, I know that my boyfriend is only with me, but both of us having the virus still makes me anxious. I just can`t imagine using a condom with him -.-

WebMD seems to say the same thing ie it is safe for prospectant mothers. Recent studies have found that men with prostate cancer seems to have both EBV and HPV viruses, in prostate cancer cases that are benign and also malignant. So, it is an early finding.
I did ask a GP recently - in women, if you find the pt is positive hpv16, what do you normally do? He said doc only monitor if the pt ..(how, im not sure, perhaps regular pap smear?).. and only take action if it gets worst..
I asked him, do you give antivirals? He said no.
One urologist I met said, what is the point of giving ppl antiviral when hpv is so common? If it does resolve with such antiviral, is the pt going to take the same medication again later, since hpv is so common? Ehm. I guess bacterial infection is so common and you dont need to take ABs?
I think ppl who had HPV16 (or the type that can cause warts) have a right to know how his /her disease is progressing (ie be able to monitor). Not really ok (for me) only just say that it will resolve eventually. If we cant monitor how it is progressing (ie resolving or getting bad), how do we manage ourselves?
Warts might show up more to say things are not improving. But HPV16, which doesnt cause warts, there is no straight forward way of knowing I guess, unless by regular Pap smear?
In any case, perhaps it would resolve, but trying to manage and treat the condition, could be one way to assure ourselves that we are being responsible, despite the outcome w/o treatment could probably be ok. But if anything bad happen in the future, then one could rest assured that he/she had done what he/she could possibly do (within reach) to avoid potential complication
In my experience, some natural supplements can tell us whether we do or do not have precancerous lesions. I have noticed, some natural supplements, if taken for the first time, will give immediate reaction to abnormal cells.
For example, delta fraction tocotrienol is one kind of vitE that had been reported to show strong / potent anti cancer agent (strong inducer of apoptosis [cell death] in cancerous cells ). First time i took this, there was immediate reaction (abt 20mins after ingestion), like my genital areas were being poked and something was bursting and I felt "unclogging" feeling. This is no placebo or what not, as it was there and then during that first intake.
Seabuckwonders (brand) = seabuckthorn seed oil . First time (topical application) on areas of skin with problem = throbbing pain on that area and the surface. Other skin areas = no sensation. Oral ingestion, pain appears at the same area, WITHOUT me actually applying it topically there. Thats an obvious sign something was going on. This sensation disappeared after abt 3 days of using the topical/oral seed oil. It would re appear, if I skip it like for a week (although with much less intense). This seed oil have also been reported to kill cancerous cells.

its all only statistics and studies like what we always hear..

its only a risk factor, and we should not stop our life because of risk factor..

I am just so worried about everything. Have been reading that HPV is also responsible for head and neck cancer, lung cancer, anal cancer and vaginal cancer... in women as well as men... so I am now concerned about my future husband too...
And both of us lead relatively healthy lives. We are non-smokers, we don`t drink alcohol, well he does sometimes , and I have the occasional wine, but nothing spectacular...
And we both exercise (my boyfriend exercises almost every day).
I just hope our immune system will take care of the virus...

you can have a baby and you will be happy..
its only if there is genital warts (thant cause by other types not 16) during normal vaginal delivery it can cause respiratory papillomatosis in infants but its extremly rare..
if the dr said there is any risk with type 16 (i think no but not sure)
so C suction is 100% safe :) ..
whatever i am sure you will clear the virus soon, just follow some good life style and diet thats increase your immunty to get over it..

HSV is generally said to be with the infected person for a lifetime, once the person has it. However, HPV is said to be cleared (usually) from the body, by many people (not necessarily all) by the 2nd year

I have done some tests, just for regular check. And the doctor gave me all the papers for every possible test. And there in the vaginal swab, they found that the Prototype 16 is there. I hope a doctor might follow me up with the questions I`ve asked.
