I have HPV 31...what now???

I was diagnosted that i have HPV 31, and my pap- test wasn't good(it was detected that i have very very small deformations of the cells)
My ginecolog said that i dont need any pills,and it will go away by itself...That's a bit strange to me!! And that i should come to a next exem after 6mounts.
So,i have a couple questions:
1) Is it possible in the next 6 moints,untill my next exem, this HPV 31to get in something more complicated?
2)Is it possible complitly HPV 31 to go away from my body or it can come back after a few years?
3) I have been just with one bf( im still with him in monogamy relationship).About our sex life...do we have to use condoms?

Studies show that HPV goes away in most people with in a few months, and over 90% withing 2 years. This is why a common approach to an abnormal pap is more frequent monitoring. If things become more serious, you may require treatment, having the infection resolve, or not progress is more likely.

It seems like HPV can come back in rare cases, but for most it is gone for good. Some of these cases of HPV coming back may actually be reinfections.

Condoms are a choice but most partners already share the infection.
