I seriously need HELP! Serious question!

Can I possibly get genital warts/HPV from kissing a guy's penis? I'm not sure if he has genital warts/HPV, but there was no wart visible. So I'm just wondering if I could get genital wart just by kissing his penis? And if I can, would it transmit to my genital area? Or only the mouth?
