Get over the fact that the doctor is a womanWomen's way. She is a professional, and has seen many men in a professional manner. She will be able to give you the reassurance that you need. But if it is really worrysome, state your concern and perhaps a male doctor will be able to see you.
The bumps aren't herpes. Herpes are blisters that come and go within a week or two.
I am sure that the bumps aren't warts either. Sounds a lot like sebaceous prominence to me.

Bumps on your penis are normal and common.
