Im sick about this

Am I a ticking time bomb?  Diagnosed with warts in 1998.  They were missed diagnosed for 12 years.  There was only two of them small etc.  Called condolomya in 1998 and removed.  Met my wife then.  Married her in 2000.  In 2004 after a week vacation noticed the condolomya had returned, never realized that was a word for warts.  Had sex for four more months, it kept getting bigger.  Went to my doctor had it removed and that is when he said warts.  I said what?  He said yes the same thing you had in 98.   I freaked out.  He said no big deal.  Ever since then every three years they return and I immediately get them removed, once in 2007 and again in 2010.  Each time careful not to reexpose my wife.  I lived on edge each year for her pap.  Her ob is great and reassures her, this is no big deal and she has been great.  She had had regular paps and hpv screens every year, unitl 2011.  This past december she had a mild negative one and tested for low risk hpv.  THe doc said no big deal see u=you again in a year.  Just becasue we are vigilant we are going again in 6 months.  He told her it was low risk and did not say anything about warts>  One is this from my warts strain 6 or 11 even if no warts are visible, or another low risk strai

Secondly, we were having sex this week twice and after the second time the next day I noticed a small raised bumped.  Went to my dermatologist today and sure enough, it is just the beginning of one.  Small but to me it mine as well be a bomb.  I am sick.  Is she at more risk or exposed again.  Please help.  I love her, we have three beautiful kids.  I do not eant to leave her, but cannot stand the thought of hurting her

Hello,
In 90% of cases, the body’s immune system clears HPV naturally within two years.  But, sometimes, HPV infections are not cleared and can have HPV even if years have passed since he or she had sexual contact with an infected person.
The human papilloma viruses (HPV) are predominantly sexually transmitted and that high-risk HPV types are a major recognized risk factor for development of cervical cancer. Low risk HPV may fight off HPV naturally and never get cell changes. Or, you may not fight off HPV, and HPV could cause cell changes in the future. Your wife should repeat another Pap test and HPV test within a year. Cell changes happen slowly.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
