LSIL Monitoring

I just had a Colposcopy done after an LSIL pap result and the doctor said that the cell changes were so minor that there was no need for a biopsy and I would just have to repeat the pap in 6 months. Is this the normal approach to this condition or should I get a second opinion?

Thanks!
