Lymph glands and HPV

I just have a quick question. I have HPV, as most know from previous posts, but I was wondering if anyone ever experienced swollen lymph glands at the side of the neck due to the body trying to fight off HPV? I have a lump at the side of my neck that my ENT says is most likely a swollen lymph gland, but when I mentioned the HPV to him he said that it would more likely affect the glands closer to the pelvis.

I was just wondering if anyone else had something similar to this. Did you experience swollen glands while you were trying to fight the HPV? I'm just wondering if they're linked at all.

Thank you for asking that question. My Daughter has lymph nodes on the left side of her neck also that are swollen and sore. So this is curious .They did a CT scan on my daughter with contrast and it showed nothing. Just swollen glands. She also said that it hurt so bad it was hard to sleep on her left side. Doesn't mean you shouldn't get a CT scan. Never over look what your body is trying to tell you,and get answers. We are going back to the Dr. To see if there are anymore test we should do. I'm researching now so this was enlightening. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. I have a feeling that it could be due to stress and the inner stress I have dealing with all of this. I am going to see the ENT again this Thursday mainly because I have another small lump just under the first I've had for a while now. I don't think it's anything major because health wise I'm fine in every other respect. So we shall see. I figure he'll order a ctscan or an ultra sound of some sort to get a better look, but he might not do anything. Who knows.

I guess i forgot to say that my lymph glads were swolen until my stress went away, but mine were only swolen on one side. I never had any swolen in my pelvic area, but on the left side of my neck, and it was sore to the touch too.
Tim- It has something to do with it, i just forgot to put that part in there lol sorry

I knew i had genital warts for three months before i went and got it taken care of. I was so stressed about telling my boyfriend, who i had been dating for 5 months, that i had Genital warts, i told him, i went to the doctor, i got a prescription for aldara, and it worked. once i went to the doctor and she gave my my prescription, my worries went away lol I dont know why, maybe finally getting it out in the open, but i just felt better. but we dont knwo who gave it to who. None of my ex's had any visible sign of hpv, i never had any bumps, and he never had any bumps till about a month after i had them, so i dont know lol I dont know whether he cheated on me, i dont knwo whether one of my ex's cheated on me and it was dormant in my body for 8-9 months. i dont know whether he had it and just started having symptoms of it when he got with me, I dont knwo any of it lol akward huh lol

Both Drs.Hook and Handsfield have stated to people that their psychological state of mind albeit the anxiety about their std can create bodily symptoms!I know this personally to be true,I was wound tighter than an old fashioned metal spin top when i was told u have HPV!!And i really spun out!thank god much better now!

Thanks for your answer. I just can't understand why the glands in my neck are swollen. Although he's also said they might by cysts or fat deposits. With the HPV being a problem and all now I guess I just get nervous about everything. Though it seems like the glands started to swell just before finding out about the HPV.
