Purple vulvar discoloration and cuts

I haven't been sexually active for 1 year now and had only 3 partners. All 3 were longterm relationships and I have never had sex without a condom. About 2 years ago I've noticed dark purple spot on my left labia majora. I thought that it was a bruise. It is still there and it still looks like a bruse, but now I believe it isn't, as 2 year passed since I've first noticed it. Few months ago I've begun experiencing itching around my clitoris and vestibulum. For weeks there were small cuts in that area that simply wouldn't heal. When the all iching started, I have noticed that the gland in my right groin was inflatted (you could see it swollen with your bare eye). I have missed my period for the last two months. I usually use tampons, and the last time I had my period, in other words, when it didn't come the next time, I thought that it could be due to that syndrome associated with leaving the tampon in too long. But that still wouldn't explain the dark purple bruise-like spot. Now, the cuts have healed, but I've noticed that my entire labia minora have darkened and the normal tiny bumpy surface has became more "visible". I'm worried that it all has something to do with HPV and vulvar cancer. Could it all be from HPV?
And, I forgot, vaginal secretion is normal all througout this time. I've never had any problems with odour or any secretion of unusual couloring...

It could be a lot of things, but the "cuts" and swollen lymph nodes suggest it could have a possibility of being herpes.  If the cuts reappear, I'd get them cultured, and I'd get a herpes test just to be on the safe side.  Getting to a doctor is important, and it sounds like you're taking the steps to do that.  This could simply be a vaginal condition, not related to STD's.
