Risk of HPV exposure

Hi,
I am a 25 year old male and I  received the Gardasil vaccine 3 years ago.
2 days ago I received and gave unproteced oral sex with a girl who the next day remembered to tell me that 3 months prior had an outbreak of genital warts. She had them removed and to my knowledge didn't have any visible warts at the time.
What are the chances that I was exposed to HPV? Does the vaccine protect me? What should I look out for and what sort of tests can I take in order to check whether or not I was exposed?
Thanks.

Depending on what medical professional you ask, most people are considered cleared of the HPV virus that causes warts in about 6 months, but 3 months after seems like a good indicator that they are not there any more. Does she know what strain of the warts virus she has? Gardasil protects against the wart causing strains 11 and 16 which cause ninety percent of genital warts. There is still a ten percent chance she has a different strain, but the numbers are on your side. Unless you have visible warts show up, there is no other way to test for the virus in males.
