Sensitive patch of skin on my penis head...HPV...begining statges of herpes...?

Approximately 20 days ago, I received oral sex from a female. A condom was used. About two days later I noticed that I had a very sensitive area on the head of my penis. I again had protected oral sex in addition to protected intercourse 5 days later with the same female.  I noticed the sensitivity after my first encounter.  The area is located more towards the bottom of the head. I describe the sensitivity as being hypersensitive to touch. If I am wearing shorts with no boxers, when the clothing rubs on it, I can feel it feels like sandpaper is rubbing on my penis. Its like the area is chafed. When I inspect the area, it is not red and there is no bump. If anything, it may look like a white patch exists, but it is not really bright. When I rub Biafine on it, the sensitivity goes away, but in the morning, it is back again. Last week I proactively went to both my GP and a dermatologist. My GP saw the white patch, only after I pointed it out, but he did not seem worried. He suggested Cortisone. My dermatologist did not seem too concerned as well. The derm thinks it might be a reaction to the condom and the friction. He told me to use Biafine. I have been using the stuff since Wed of last week and my condition has stayed pretty much the same. No better and no worse. Am I being paranoid? Does anyone have any insight. Could it be the beginning of an STI? Genital warts is the first thing that comes to mind.  I am worried because it is going on three weeks and if it was a reaction to the condom or an abrasion, I would have thought it would be gone by now. At what point should I be concerned that I may have contracted an STI? It has been maybe 5 days worth of Biafine and I still have tenderness and hypersensitivity. For my piece of mind, the GP did order up some Chlamydia and Gonorrhea urine sample tests, but he seemed skeptical that I may have contracted one of the two. They both came back negative.  My anxiety is going through the roof right now.
Thanks

Well sometimes creams can cause issues. It's best to talk to the doc again.

I have switched over to a topical steroid, specifically desoximetasone for 2 days now, but again, no change. Does anyone have any insight on how I should proceed?  I agree that it was my understanding that HPV took 3-6 months to show up after expsore, maybe I should just leave it alone for a while.  No creams or anything.

Thanks

You def don't have HPV from these sexual experiences. It takes 3 to 6 months for symptoms to appear after being exposed. I am not saying you couldn't have been exposed in the past. HPV doesn't hurt, my warts are painless and I have read the same thing about males. I agree with your doc that you prob have some irritation. With two docs telling you that they don't think you have an STD/STI you shouldn't worry, they see many patients and know what to look for.

I tend to go along with your GP advice. I think you have nothing to worry about. I think it is chafing or a reaction to the condom.
