WEEEE!!

I know these forums are more for questions; however, I want to get this out because I can't hold it any longer. I have to give a play- by- play on what happened today..I don't even know if you all will believe me

If you don't remembe me, I was diagnosed with low-risk HPV some weeks ago after my doc found a few warts on my labia. As soon as the tests came out positive I started my Gardasil vaccine and some acid treatments on the warts she saw. (This was one week ago today).

Today, I went into the doc for a second acid treatment. Sitting in the chair, I noticed a puzzeld look on her face and starting talking to her nurse. I was nervous so I asked her if the warts spread. She said no. I said "Ok, what is wrong?" She said "I don't understand how but I don't see any of the warts I treated last week" I didn't understand and asked her what she meant. She said she has never seen anybody take to the treatments so fast and so well. She was completley astonished! Couldn't quit saying "wow and I can't believe this, and etc and etc." Of the warts she treated, she only saw small remains of one of the big suckers. She feels that I am going to do really well with the second treatment and the aldara. I am soo stoked! I heard aldara ***** but no pain no gain, I can handle a little burning and itching it it means these buggers will be gone.

I am not getting too excited, not until my next appointment which is next week but I just wanted to share. Ever since I was diagnosed, I treated it as if it was a life changing event. Starting working out, taking vitamin b complex, and trying to eat healthier.

Anyway, I just wanted to share, to give hope for anybody newly diagnosed. There is hope. Don't let HPV run your life, take it be the regins (Spelling) and take charge of it!

Congratulations & Thanks for sharing your story... I also want to add a littel more here... The treatments really do magics if you get them at an earlier stage of wart development... An early treatment also helps preventing warts spreading to other areas or growing larger... The treatements take more time for older warts... A healthy immune system really helps to respond quickly to the treatment... As such, every body should get the treatment as soon as s/he is diagnosed with one...
