Warts gone after 2 doses of Aldara

I was diagnosed with HPV causing genital warts last week.  I had 5-6 warts around my labia minora.  I was prescribed  Aldara, 3x a week for 6 hours,  for 8 weeks.  I started the treatment 8 days ago, but after the first dose I got my period and waited 5 days until it was over, and then resumed treatment.   I have only applied Aldara twice and all the warts are now gone.  Everything I have read about Aldara indicates it takes multiple weeks for the warts to disappear.  I am wondering if I was potentially misdiagnosed?   If not should I continue applying Aldara for the full 8 weeks even though there are no more warts?

Call the doc office and talk to a nurse. I would say if there is no wart then do not put any med on just skin. I am using Aldara too and on my second treatment. I have done 4 acid treatments and often it would work on new warts so they were gone after only one treatment.
