What do PAP test results show?

I just got a pap test the other day. The next morning I noticed a small hard bump on my inner labia.  It does not hurt unless I touch it or put pressure on it.  I'm not sure what it is but it worries me.  Should my doctor have seen this while examining me?  Also, if it is an std will it show in my PAP results??

you should have your GYN or health care provider look at this... If you have and STD it will not appear on your pap, your pap is to look at your cervix and yes determine if you have any abnormal cells such as HPV... but not herpes or other STDs.

Some Paps do test for Clap and gono... but you would need to double check and ask you GYN.. you should return to have this bump examined, and the sooner the better.
