. The one wart I had previously (5 years ago) was a lot larger and by itself. These small bumps I am referring to now are hardly noticeable. Different type of strain
use suggests that they are ineffective against the virus. What if someone believes they have "cleared" the virus. To inform or not to inform after 5 years and condom use to have sex with someone?
Last question...can initial HPV infection cause low grade fever pr dizziness. I was tested then and very recently for all other STD's and all came back negative. However, I do remember being tired, low grade fever.
Hi, I'm not sure why you're seeing it again 5 years later but supposedly after 6 months and there's no warts recurrence, you should be "HPV-free".
As for your white bumps, until you have verified that they are indeed oral warts, I'd advice you to not share drinks or kiss. And yes, it is contagious. But my nurse told me once the lesion is cleared, you can kiss all you want.
I dont think there's such thing as oral cancer from HPV? Yeah it can cause cervical cancer, but obviously that one too is NOT the same with genital wart HPV strain. Thing is, you might have both high risk and low risk HPV strains. If you never had wart for over 5 years, i think the only possible explanation is that you got another HPV strain from someone else (maybe even your ex wife).
And regarding condom, although im not sure myself, but as far as i know latex is very very effective in protecting against any type of STD (especially HIV). The reason why it's not more than 70% effective against genital warts is simply because HPV can transmit from skin to skin, and condom only protect your penis, not area around it. HPV might transmit from skin above your penis or on your scrotum, that's why it's not 100% effective. While for other STDs that require a "hole" to come in like HIV, obviously latex is almost as 100% effective as long as it doesn't break when you use it.
