no i didn't no i don't have abnormal periods, and i was turned away from the doctor the other day because i don't have insurance and i didn't have the money for a self pay at the time. but i called the actual doctor and he said that he will see me on friday.
thats what the doctor that told me i had the hpv said. they didn't say if it was or not they just said there was no cancerus cells (at the time) no my husband doesn't have insurance for me or my children but i put the kids on medicade so they would have something. he is an obgyn my sisters old obgyn until i can find someone else or get insurance.
well good that no cancerous cells.....they usually do repeat papsPap smear Pap smears and cervical cancer every 4-6 mos.to tell u if the hpv has returned...i had LEEP 8-07 and have to have papsPap smear Pap smears and cervical cancer every 4 mos. for a year.so under Medicaid in ur state u can't get a health plan?In Ohio i work with women whose kids r on Medicaid and they have a plan that allows them to see a gyno...u r doing the best u can with this!stay on top of it!
they never said it went away, i am not on medicade i am trying to get on it but as far as i know right now my husband makes to much for me to get on it but my kids have medicade, thank you for the support it helps a lot...
so u still have it?when were u dx'ed with it?last year?this year?that is bunk......with a colp/biopsy they decide to watch to see if it will go away or remove with LEEP!i pray u find a definitive solution to this soon...how old r u?sometimes docs try to wait and see with younger women if it will go away....but if it hasn't within a year i think they need to remove it!
yes as far as i know... i was diagnosed with it in november or 07. they never did a colp/biopsy. i am about to be 25 years old. i just don't know what i can do with out insurance. i am trying to get medicade but its hard because my husband makes to much but i am trying again.
sad that where ur hub works no insurance?usually on the cervix it is high risk hpv.....and colp will tell that...gynos usually follow up with this...low risk is wart type....did gyno AT LEAST tell u they would re-do pap in 6 mos. 2 see if it would go away?u r young..possibly they r doing this.....
no my husband has health insurance... so the colp is what they do in the process of the pap? yeah they said they need me to come in for anther pap in 6 months but never scedualed me a time or date to come in..
if ur hub has insurance why r u not on it?i am confused...u said prior there was no insurance?and kids on Meidcaid with him having insurance?if they told u to come in in another 6 months...then u need to schedule the appt!
my husband didn't put me on his insurance because it cost to much and i didn't want my kids to not have insurance so i put them on medicade, i can't get medicade for myself because my husband makes to much. i tried to scedual an apointment they just said to go in and they would go from there but they didn't say when and what time.
wow..it costs too much?doesn't he think ur health is worth it?if u can get on the insurance u should...letting this go untreated will cost u more in many ways in the long run!
u shouldn't have to do that dear....he should put u on his plan....i'm scratching my head here.....in Ohio a single plan would cost u $400-500 a month and u'd have to meet a deductible first.
yeah i know but i don't see me getting any health insurance any other way. i do know that if i find a plan i can't tell them about the hpv or i wont be coverd on it
i went to the doc and they think it might be a problem with my hormones. so they put me on birth control. they also said it could be an infection in my cervix and or it could be a std... but they really think its the hormones but i got a pap done and all.
