Hello, a definitive diagnosis might be considered by a having a biopsy sent to a pathology lab.
You can get anal warts without having anal sex. This happens to straight men who have never had any sort of anal play infected with HPV all the time. I've even heard of men who only have anal warts (without ever having any sort of anal sex activity) and for some reason never develop them on their penis.
i would think ur doctor knows the difference between a polyp and a genital wart....a wart can show up around th anal area first and not other areas, then can pop up in other places....they are a virus that lives in the skin!
