anyone ttc used pre seed?

I have hpv but I have the strain that causes cervical cancer...the doc told me that ttc may take a little long because my body doesn't produce a normal amount of mucus needed to carry the sperm...he told me about pre seed lubricant...I was wondering if anyone has used it...it is supposed to mimic your natural secretions...it doesn't damage of kill sperm like some of the leading lubricants do and even saliva...if anyone has used it or heard anything about it please let me know

Hi there.  I also have the strain of HPV that causes cervical cancer.  I did use pre seed, although learned about it on these boards not from my Dr.  Last year I had a healthy baby boy.  I don't believe it actually necessarily aids in conception though - my understanding is that that is a myth.  It is a lubricant like others that simply helps make intercourse more comfortable for many of us.  The only real difference is that it is sperm friendly as most lubes tend to kill or slow down sperm.

There are other things you can do...as you approach ovulation time cut out anything dehydrating such as alcohol or excessive caffeine.  Increasing your water intake really helps as well.
