benign cyst or HPV?

around two days ago I discovered some sort of bump on the outside of my labia, between my vagina and perineum.  It's not really on the surface but is more like a cyst slightly smaller than a pea located just below the surface.  It doesn't really cause me much discomfor but it does sting a little when touched.  I did some research and the most common answer was a bartholin cyst, but I think it's located to far down (close to the perineum) to be a bartholin cyst.  Could it possibly be HPV or another STD?  Should I just wait to see if it goes away or should I have my doctor take a look at it?

if it doesnt go away in a week i would have it looked at by a professional.  however this does not seem like a genital wart.
