confused help..

Hallo. a few months ago i noticed a small growth on the outside of my vaginal area! i was very scared of what it was and i consolted my boyfriend and asked him what he though it was.. he said that he didnt think it was something serious but he said that i should see my gp, which i did. i was then diagonised with hpv and the doctor told me that i had genital warts. i was very scared and confuse and i got treatment of the warts with cryotherapy. The treatment was over time and the doctor told me that they were all gone.. in the process of being treated i noticed some raised bumbs dark in colour which i informed my gp about but she said that i have nothing to worry about as they are just skin tags and i would have never noticed them if i nevr concentrated on my genotal area much. am still a bit more confused as they seem to be getting more in number. could they be more warts? how will i know wether they are more warts or just skin tags as my gp says.? please help am scared..
And again since i have had the warts, does that mean i infected my boyfriend who had no signs of warts or will he reinfect me again as we dont us protection. please help..

i've read that when having warts burned off..they may return a few months later and may need a second removal.HPV 6 and 11 are the wart bearing strains.U can rid self of 6 or 11....and get either one strain again of which u didn't have.Have u and boyfriend had other partners within past few years?if so hard to tell who these came from and these can return..u can't be re-infected if u stay with same person so using condoms at this point with him is useless.
