fact or fiction about hpv

Is it true if you touch some ones infected areas and then touch yours you could catch hpv for exaple i fingered a girl and then put on my condum could that mean i have hpv. and do it really take years to have symtoms i think thats all bs from somone who dosent want to admit they cheated

UMMM that is a loooooowwwww risk BUT, although you wore a condom there is still a risk for HPV although low there is a slim risk and the reason is because hpv sheds when friction is applied, scratch ect.

And yes it can take 10 or more years for HPV to become an active infection, upon infection most cases will clear in ab 2 years meaning it is not active and will not be transmitted to future partners
Also once infected you can not be reinfected with the same strain of HPV
