how does it look?

Hi,

Anyone knows how does a wart look on its initial stage? Like a bump? A follicle? I think I have a bigger than the rest follicle but I'm not sure if it could be a wart, can they be confused on the early stage?

I actually have 4-5 of the white dots really small on the shaft on my penis and they have hairncomming out of it except for the one, it looks exactly the same as the other ones but it just doesn't have hair, does this sound like a wart to u?

Last question to close this thread.

I can only see a really really small folicle looking white dot about 1/2 ml and only when I stretch the skin.

If I need to stretch the skin and it changes its size is it a good sign against warts and good for just a simple stupid folicle?

No they do not!  If you have a hair coming out of it, then it is an ingrown hair pimple. Not a wart. Pluck the hair out with a tweezer and wash it with soap and water often. Any over the counter pimple med or neosporin will chase it away.

OK I came back from the std clinic, they say they look like Fordyce or hair folicles, I'm just worried they could start growwing  and not being hair follicles, yes, I'm going nuts here...can't stop looking at it, any advise.

Sometime people notice them when they are small. Sometimes they don't see them until they are noticeable. So they grow but quickly stop growing.

So you mean that one morning you wake up and the wart is just there? Or starts small and start growing?

A skin doctor is always the best choice for skin issues. Warts usually show up 2-8 months after exposure. They don't change in shape or size over time. Yes they are hard to get appointments with. Make one and wait. If it goes away, then cancel it. A biopsy may be the only way to know for sure but visible diagnosis usually is accurate.

Also, I saw 2 STD drs not dermatologist, they are hard to get an appointment with, would std clinic be OK or not quite?

Should I get a third opinion and if yes in how many more months?

Thanks for the reply, I did see two doctors already as soon as I saw the bump, they don't think its a wart but my question is, could it be on its early stage and therefore be misdiagnosed as something else?

If it was a wart on how many months it would become a full visible wart? Its been a month already and hasn't changed.

Some look like cauliflowers, some look like bumps, some are flat, some are white, some are brown, some are skin color.  They don't really change much over time without medication. Go see a dermatologist for a medical diagnosis. Comparing what you have to pics online is a waste of time.
