hpv from fellation

I recently received unprotected oral sex from a prostitute.  I got tested at three weeks for chlamydia and gonorrhea twice by urine and by swab both were negative.  While using the restroom, I flipped my penis upside down to inspect it and saw a clump of bumps around my circumcision line.  You can not see the bumps when flaccid but only when you stretch the skin.  Is it likely that I got genital warts from fellatio or did I more than likely already have it?  Me and my girl have been together about three years and she sadi she had hpv before but got rid of it.  Did she give it to me?  Any thoughts?

in the vast majority of cervical infections, the immune system slowly clears the virus over a year or two, and the infection resolves. While it is true that most cervical HPV infections are gradually cleared by the immune system, this is unknown for oral or rectal HPV infections1. That said, it is my own belief that time will show it is much more difficult for the body to clear an oral or rectal HPV infection. Additionally, some researchers are beginning to recognize that oral and rectal HPV lesions can progress to cancer much more quickly, in just a few months, compared to up to 10-20 years for cases of cervical dysplasia12. This would tend to support the theory that the mouth and rectum do not have the same protective barriers that the vagina has, but time and research will eventually clarify the issue.

In 2008, oral HPV infection is now responsible for 40% of all new oral cancers, and this is an increase from only 5% two years ago. Rectal HPV is responsible for 90% of all rectal cancers. There is a now a virtual 'tidal wave' of young people that are developing devastating oral and rectal cancers in their 30’s and 40’s from this deadly disease.
