hpv worrys :/

hi. had some questions for anyone else being scared of maby having hpv in there mouth or on penis/genitals. like a month ago i had very brief oral sex w a guy both ways. looked like he maby had a small pimple on his shaft but i thot it was probly just nuthing/we didnt ejaculate in each others mouth but jerked off and had brief oral. i noticed a small bump like size of a goosebump on my head of my penis and now am noticing a tiny bump on roof or mouth. idk if im paranoid or ifi should be rly scared. it was a guy from campus and idk him we hooked up at rec center. anyone have any similar experiences or can help me get thru this??? willing to show a pic of the one on my penis head if someone wants to see what they think. might post in dr forum to just rly need to hear from someone that knows bout hpv. thx

If you are worried about the bump still, try to avoid the dentist and see a ENT doctor or Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist...that's what I did when I was worried about a bump in my mouth. They removed it, tested it, and everything was a-ok! Just like everywhere else on your body, normal bumps show up!

Hi thx for the advise veryworried420 :) well the mouth thng is nuthing and went to dr who looked at my penis and he said it lookd norm n that the tiny bump wasn't wart so I feel better. Getting tested for stds this wk tho since it scares me bout maby getting hiv or something from the oral I've had. I haven't had any unprotected anal or anything like that at all but i had a flu right after we had oral so I wanna get checked. Thx I'll lyk results hope I'll be ok I want to meet someone and not have to worry if I'm going to give them stuff.

Go see a dermatologist for a professional medical opinion of genital bumps. The doctors on their forum do not look at pictures because a picture doesn't tell much. An actual medical exam is required.

For anything in your mouth, please start with your dentist. He or she can give you an oral exam. If anything is noticed, you will be referred to an oral surgeon or an ENT doctor for removal of that bump if it is deemed to be suspicious. A biopsy result will indicate what it is and isn't. Please see your dentist asap.

One oral sex act rarely passes the virus but it is not impossible. Get medical and dental attention asap.
