1) Depending on your body and your immune system, genital warts can either grow in size and quantity, dissapear or stay the same. There is no set time for them to start growing or disapearing.
2) Warts usually go away in 6-24 months, but they are more likely to go with treatment and a healthy life style.
3) You need to go to a sexual health clinic.
4) Warts can appear weeks, months or years after exposure. If you aren't showing genital warts right now, then don't worry. You can only get diagnosed with GW if you start showing warts
how long does genital warts take to get bigger? or show?
so if i don't get the warts treated then it could get bigger? will it go away by it self? where do i go to get them treated?
If you have low risk HPV then it causes no other health issues. It only causes warts in some cases.
If you have high risk HPV (the type that dosen't cause warts) then that causes cell changes in the cervix which sometimes lead to cancer, and very rarely cause penile cancers in men.
Get warts treated. Despite warts not causing any harm to you, theres a possibility they could get bigger. The virus is more likely to lay dormant in your system if you get them professionaly treated also. The sooner you get them treated the more effective the treatment wil be.
