i was told that i had hpv like 6 months ago i went through all the procedure but i didnt go back to the gyno to do a 2nd pap smear. but anyway me and my bf we didnt have sex but he put is penis on the outside does that mean i pass it to him or i would have to have the actual intercourse before its pass on?

Genital warts are caused by a virus – HPV (human papillomavirus). Any sexually active person can get HPV. Using condoms every time you have sex can help protect against HPV but they aren't perfect because HPV can be found on skin that isn't covered by a condom.
