don't know how old you are or how many ppl you've slept with, but more than likely you have already been exposed to it and didn't know it. It rarely affects men in a bad way. 90% of the sexually active population already has some form of high and low risk hpv. If you have slept with at least 3 people, consider yourself exposed. Read the STD dr's forum for more information.

I just wanted to clarify that condomsCondoms Female condoms do help somewhat - they are more effective than not effective. Research has shown that condom use can help women clear active HPV infections because of reduced viral load. It is important to continue to use condoms even when it comes to HPV because they are still 70% effective.
