I somewhat agree with j123k123, you should go back to the doctor because they are the ones who give you updates on your HPV and I'm sure you want to know that. I was also recently diagnosed with HPV and my gyno told me there is no cure for it but depending on the strength of your immune system, your body can make the virus dormant in your body. The seriousness of the virus depends on the type of HPV you have. I was diagnosed with low risks which most of the time results in warts. High risk HPV is the type that causes cancer. Most people have HPV but don't know it sometimes. That's why going to the doctor is important. It is very common so you're not alone. HPV is most likely to be transmitted when it is active. I hope this helps.
Yes, it can be cured if you catch it early enough before it does any damage and it depends on the strain of HPV you may be affected with. You should really go back to the doctors. Although HPV can be resolved on its own, it can have serious complications such as cancer. Again, if you catch it early enough, it can be cured. Males are not treated for HPV unless they have visible warts.
