Can men get warts on their genitals without it being "genital warts"? I've had sex with 2 people my entire life and I am faithfully married and have recently found a wart on my genitals. Im pretty freaked out about the whole thing.

If you haven't already, see a doctor to be sure that it is a wart.

But yes, warts on the genitals are from strains that cause genital warts and warts that appear elsewhere are from strains that cause common warts.

HPV is very contagious, and almost everybody who is sexually active will contract at least one strain. It is not surprising to contract HPV with only a few sexual partners.
