You probably have it, or have had it, in fact, you may have been the source. Couples almost always share HPV infections. Men will not show symptoms of the high risk strainStrains of HPV, and there is no test you can take to determine if you are infected. While infected, men can pass the virus to different womenWomen's way, but fortunately the virus rarely persists for longer than a couple of years.
It's a myth that HPV doesn't affect men. It can cause penisCancer - penis Curvature of the penis Penis care (uncircumcised) Penis pain cancer. It obviously causes warts. Studies have found HPV in the urethra, vans defrens and epididymis in men and breast in womenWomen's way. It is my opinion that research will one day show that HPV causes more problems than currently thought.
In my opinion, it isn't worth worrying about. Penile cancer affect less than one out of every 100,000 men in the united states, and less than half of these cases are related to HPV.
