My girl friend were both virgins when we had sex, a year later she went to the Doc. and she came up positive for hpv. So my question is can you get hpv if we both only had sex with each other (no one else ever) or did one of us had to sleep with someone else?
HPV can be transmitted through other types of sexual contact aside from intercourse. My doctor told me of a case where a virgin patient of his had genital warts, and it was from other sexual contact. One of you could have acquired it through genital touching/rubbing/etc. from someone else you DIDN'T actually have intercourse with.
