misdiagnosed 3 times for warts!

I went to the doctor about a month ago because i had little skin colored bumps. A few near my vagina and on my inner thighs.  The doctor first told me they were herpes.  I have had Type 1 a few years ago and although they looked and felt nothing like the first time I took the oral medicine as well as applied cream to them.  As well as getting my blood drawn.  The blood test came back negative and the bumps were still the same.  I went back and my doctor and he said they were genital wartsand burned them off.  Didn't work, so he burned them off again still nothing.  Now i am applying another type of cream on athletes foot cream and he says it is a fungus.  So far nothing.  I have not been sexually active for at least 5 months.  Is there anything else i can try?  And how contagious are they?  I am finally going home to see my boyfriend and he knows all of this but what are his chances of getting them if we are sexually active?

I would see a doctor who specializes in sexual health or a dermatologist.
