my wife's gyno asked to talk to me!!!

my wife came home from her annual check up and said that her gyno wanted to talk to me; when I inquired into what the subject was she said that he just wanted to talk to me; I go into the doctor's office and he starts talking about I need to be careful with my wife, that my kissing her in the mouth and then on her vagina that I could easily transfer "things" down to her privates; he was so vague that I dont know what he was talking about........ do you thimk my wife has herpes are something, what else could he be talking about?
